Bethesda Explains Why Fallout 4 Branded Controllers Are Not Coming To PlayStation 4

Bethesda has recently introduced a wonderful Fallout 4 branded Xbox One controller, which we suppose will go sold out really fast. As you might have guessed, PlayStation 4 users have not been very glad about this being a Microsoft exclusive peripheral, demanding for news about a DualShock 4 with the same design. Marketing VP Pete Hines has provided a series of answers to his followers, stating that the controller is not coming to PS4 just because of Sony's policy regarding third-party standard controllers.

"Not everyone has the same policy on third party controllers", Hines said in the first place. Then "presently i don't believe Sony allows for branded 3rd party standard controllers".

So, these are basically the reasons why a Fallout 4 branded DualShock 4 is not coming to PS4. Hines said the truth apparently, without providing any chance to fans to see that kind of initiative brought to Sony's consoles any time soon.

By the way, there could also have been something happening between Bethesda and Microsoft as part of the deal that will bring mods on Xbox One first and Fallout 3 free for those who pre-order the upcoming game.
