PS4 Gamers Can't Play Until Dawn Due To "128 Days Until Available" Bug, Sony Shares Temporary Fix

PlayStation 4 exclusive horror game Until Dawn released on August 25, but few unlucky PlayStation 4 gamers who pre-order the game haven't been able to play it because of a nasty error. According to numerous report on PlayStation forums, many PlayStation 4 gamers are unable to play Until Dawn because they are greeted with a message "128 Days Until Available" as soon as they tries to login into the game.

Sony did offer a temporary workaround to fix this issue, however, it didn't work for many Until Dawn players. Here is what the moderator on PS Forums suggested fixing this nasty issue:

Navigate to the item on the PlayStation Store
Purchase the free version of Until Dawn (or if you have that already, another free game/item such as Singstar)
Download the file to your system (if the file is already downloaded and installed, please skip this step and move to step 4)
Use the Restore Licenses option by navigating to Settings >> PlayStation(TM)Network/Account Management >> Restore Licenses
Attempt to boot the game. If the game still does not boot at this point, delete the file, re-download and repeat step 4.

Here is what one PS forum user said about this temporary workaround:

"this doesn't work.  When you attempt to download the Free version it gives an error message stating that Until Dawn is already installed on the system.”"

Sony has issued new press statement assuring PlayStation fans that they are working on a possible solution.
