Uncharted 4: A Thief's End was scheduled to launch in 2015, but due to some reason the release date was pushed forward to Spring 2016. To cover up for the release delay of Uncharted 4, Sony announced Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection with an access to Uncharted 4: A Thief's End multiplayer beta as pre-order bonus.
There is no word yet from Naughty Dog as to when Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta will take place: either in 2015 or just ahead of Uncharted 4 launch. Naughty Dog are still keep their cards close to their chest but it seems like this will change soon as Naughty Dog's Eric Monacelli has promised some update/info on Uncharted 4 beta soon.
Speaking to our friend at GameSpot, Monacelli was asked: "The Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta, and that's next year sometime, do you guys have a date on that"? and to this he replied:
"We don't have a date quite yet (Uncharted 4), but we're gonna be releasing some info about it really soon."
This is an interesting reply considering the fact that "Next Year" wording was not discarded by Eric. A major hint that Uncharted 4 beta wil start in 2016.
When asked once again, towards the end part of the INTERVIEW: whether the beta is incoming in 2016? Eric replied:
"it's coming soon, we're gonna' give a date very soon about it.
