Metal Gear Solid series fans in Benelux (Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg), "Bol.Com", one of the most respected retailer in Netherlands, has just announced on Twitter that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Collector's Edition for Xbox One has been canceled in the region. The retailer didn't provided any reason for the cancelation.
The tweet from Bol reads as follows (translated):
"Unfortunately, just been told that the #MGS CE for #XboxOne not coming in the benelux. Customers will receive another email with information
the #MGS CE for #PS4 is going to be just appear. For people with #Xbox One version is the default day one edition still available"
Also, edgame (Dutch retailer) is cancelling pre-orders for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Collector's Edition for PlayStation 4. At least two persons confirmed they received an email saying that the store won't be getting any collector's editions of the game and their orders were canceled as a result.
According to reports coming out from Neogaf, the wordings used in the email were bit dodgy but sounds like the entire shipment was canceled by Konami.
