Hideo Kojima Says He Has "No Regrets", Is "So Proud" About Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Hideo Kojima has issued a new tweet from his personal Twitter account to talk directly with Metal Gear fans and to those are expecting big things from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Looking back at the way the new MGS shaped up, the director said he has "no regrets".

He is "so proud" about the development of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and this suggests that an open world game, maybe an open world Metal Gear, was everything he always desired to work on.

Metal Gear fans will surely recognize that Snake quote ("kept u waiting huh?"), another tribute to the games they have fallen in love in the last twenty years.

Probably enough, this is going to be the last Konami published Hideo Kojima game and this means, according to the the IP owner, that incoming Metal Gear titles won’t be directed by the series creator.
