Good news for people who love all about stats and technical matters when they play their Call of Duty multiplayer sessions. Based on reports coming from the Beta, currently available on PlayStation 4 only, Black Ops III displays ping and dedicated servers status in the pause menu.
This means that, whenever you want, you can check your connection's ping to establish whether you have lag issues or you're just a noob.
Moreover, anytime you prefer, you can also see which servers are hosting the multiplayer sessions, whether they are dedicated servers or not, in the very same pause menu.
This also means that Call of Duty: Black Ops III multiplayer will be based on the same hybrid servers system that hosted Advanced Warfare, with some servers dedicated, some others based on common P2P.
