Microsoft Were Expecting PS4/PS3 Being The New Home For CoD Series Announcement, Will Support Black Ops III

Call of Duty fans have been surprised by the latest Sony and Activision announcement about Black Ops III, and the entire series, becoming kind of a new PlayStation brand. To report Andrew House's words, “PlayStation is the new home of Call of Duty” and this means PS3 and PS4 will have DLCs and promotions first, a privilege reserved to Xbox owner until Advanced Warfare.

What about Microsoft now? Polygon has asked this question to Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg, to check if there's any chance of getting the franchise back to Xbox or they have other plans.

"We were expecting the announcement, obviously we have a great relationship with Activision, we have more people playing Call of Duty today on our platform than any other. And if you think about it, if you're a shooter fan and want to play Halo and Call of Dutythere's only one box to do it on.”

So, Microsoft is not afraid about its offer in terms of shooter games.  Halo and Gears of War will be enough for its fans, and furthermore there won't be any delay in the release of Black Ops III on Xbox One.

"You want to play Halo and Gears and Call of Duty. We think we'll continue to drive a lot of sales of Call of Duty on our platform, we already have pre-orders happening now for Black Ops 3, and we're going to support the title just like we would any other big third-party title."

What's your take on this, anyway? Is this answer enough on Microsoft's side or Call of Duty DLCs being first on PlayStation are going to make a difference?
