Dark Souls III is real and official announcement is incoming at E3 2015. But you won't have to wait until E3 2015 as YouTube Channel "The Known" has just shared very first Dark Souls III gameplay details, concept art and screenshots. Are you ready? here are the details.
Dark Souls III will launch on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2016. PC was also listed as a port but it was accompanied with a word "NEGOTIABLE".
Dark Souls III will support 1-4 players. This possible means you will be able to summon more than one friend of yours or some PvP element has been included by development team.
There will be whooping 10 playable classes in Dark Souls III and all of them will be available right from the start of the game.
There will be 45 new enemies and 15 new bosses. Read it again i used the term "NEW", all returning characters and monsters from previous Dark Souls game are not included in that figure.
Coming to weapons and armor, Dark Souls III will have 100 new weapons, 40 new armor, again this figure is excluding returning armor/weapon set.
There will be over an hour of Cut-scenes in Dark Souls III, in-engine and no pre-rendered.
Dark Souls III will have 10 areas in the game.
Players will change the way they interact with other players online. A new concept of "Sacrifice Ceremonies" has been included and players will participate in it. They will be able to drag bodies around, select a place to sacrifice, perform ritual and visit another player's game. You need to beware as this process will make you target for other players. These will also change your game, such as a sacrifice creating a bonfire at the location you choose to sacrifice the body.
Light sources and enemy layouts have been changed.
Boss battles have a new "Heat Up" factor that "completely change" boss battles based on undescribed factors.
The game will add "Sword Fighting Arts," which including "Rush In" and "Circle." The former is a sacrifice attack that allows you to dive into an opponent and take damage while delivering a huge hit, while the latter sounds like a dodge move.
