Gears of War Remastered "Ultimate Edition" or whatever you call it, the main thing is that it exist and is coming to Xbox One possibly Holiday Season 2015. The newly formed Black Tusk Studios are not working on this Gears of War remastered port for Xbox One. According to reports, Splash Damage, the studio behind Brink and Dirty Bomb, is working on Gears of War Ultimate Edition of Xbox One.

It's just a matter of time now for Microsoft and Splash Damage to officially unveil Gears of War: Ultimate Edition for Xbox One, we might possibly see a reveal trailer at E3 2015 along with some actual gameplay footage. Keeping my finger crossed.
