New pictures surfaced online this week allegedly showing the new slimmed down PS4 from Sony.
Mulitpalyer.it claims the images are from an inside source and shows a console almost half the size of the original PS4.
It follows earlier rumours that Samsung's mass-production of the industry’s first 8 gigabit (1GB) GDDR5 DRAM memory chips meant a PS4 slim could be on its way.
Executive vice president of memory sales and marketing, Joo Sun Choi, furthered the idea when he commented: "We expect that our 8Gb GDDR5 will provide original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) with the best graphics memory solution available for game consoles as well as general use notebook PCs."
Sony's console uses 16 512MB GDDR5 chips from Samsung, and are the only manufacturer to do so.

The games developer gave a full rundown on what's new with it's latest tool and what the best way to wield it when it comes building on earlier efforts on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
The Rockstar post reads: "We've been playing and enjoying many of those new Jobs and in our latest edition of Rockstar Game Tips, we've got pointers on how to make sure your creations are properly set up to support and maximize the action for a large player count.
